Being a teacher Manfred  is exposed to hundreds of young Germans every day who willingly reveal their family tragedies to him. Thus looking behind closed doors, he can tell you what modern Germany is really like. It's different, but still extremely hilarious, especially for the British.
Even Manfred is a tragic character. Political correctness has made him neurotic and confused. Still, Manfred means well, but isn’t that the worst thing you can say about
a person?
Grandad does not have to be politically correct any more. He can speak his mind freely. And he does so enthusiastically, as he has nothing to lose. He cannot be fired and ... sexual harrassment is not a topic any more. What a relief!!
Out of God's waiting room, back into life. Activity instead of lethargy. Rebellion instead of depressiveness.
These are his priniples of life.
Apples taste best in autumn, don't they. And Grandad is in the autumn of his life. But he is not interested in apples, he wants to live life to the fullest. There is time enough for all the joys of life now.
And there is time to finally take revenge on the government, that wishes him dead to save his pension. He knows how to punish the politicians, not by charge and complaint, but by longevity.
And then ... in his animal spirits ...  Grandad can suddenly act
flabbergastingly outrageously ... sing and dance a hip hop song and make a fool of all the modern German hypocrical cowards.
But the British should be careful, too! He's dangerous. The longer one lives the shorter is life sentence!!!
